Shopping spree

I did a great deal of shopping today. First, I bought a swimsuit (I need one for the swimming week next week, and my old ones don't fit any more. That's the bad news. I've grown too slim for them. That's the good news.) ;-)

And then, since I happened to pass a fabric shop, I went inside and .... bought fabric for my projected Regency dress. It's green and blue, checkered, and with some stripes in between. The pattern isn't printed but woven, which means the back looks very pretty as well, so I might use some of the fabric with the wrong side in front... I don't know yet. Am v. enthusiastic about it, and will try to put a photo online later. Now all I need to do is sew the dress. *cough*
