Just packing my stuff - I'm going on holiday! It's not a "big" holiday this year, what with getting on a plane and going far away, and I have to say I'm quite happy about not having booked a flight right now. My cousin's wife almost wanted to stay at home on Monday, but they'd booked their honeymoon for months, so off they went.
I'm getting on the train to Vienna tomorrow morning. Austrian Rail strikes again - you never get what you ordered. I wanted a seat in a large compartment, I hate being shut into a small compartment with 5 strangers. Guess where my seat is. Well, at least it's a non-smoking compartment, so I ought to shut up and be grateful, plus I got the window seat. I can't expect them to be any more forthcoming.
Anyway, just wanted to tell everyone I'm going. I'll be back by Aug. 27, and back in my own flat by Aug. 30. I'll be able to post some wedding pics from there - and maybe I'll get some writing done. Finished my Sea Captain Challenge story today... will start on the Cit tomorrow, on the train. I hope no one in my compartment expects any conversation from me. :-( If they do, they're in for a snub. Though I might make an exception for good-looking, charming guys. ;-)
