ladysusanAfter about an hour of searching, I've found my passport. I have to go to Rouen next week; without a passport checking in at the airport might have been slightly problematic. But - I found it. Yay! So it's off to France I go on Wednesday.
Also picked up my new papers at the county school office this afternoon. Work contract etc. I was also sworn in once again (apparently the first swearing-in in 1996 wasn't effective enough...lol). Well, I signed my pledge to the Republic once more, and got some info on my new health insurance etc.
Lots of work to do this week; I need to grade some English tests tonight, and tomorrow night we have a Job Orientation Evening for our fourthyears where I have to go. Also I need to prepare lessons for my substitutes who take over my lessons next week. It's almost the end of the semester, so lots of history tests and notebook grading too.
Am looking forward to Normandy though.
